- Trash removal in neighborhood publics spaces
- Clean, paint and decorate teachers lounge at Meadow Park Middle School
- Baked goods shared with local firefighters, DMV workers and local businesses
- School supplies collected for Meadow Park and Barnes Elementary schools
- Home maintenance, yard work, and other help for neighbors in need
- Potluck lunch for Day of Action volunteers
Schedule of events:
- 9 AM - Gather at either Westside United Methodist (map) or Cedar Hills Baptist (map) for a brief gathering time and instructions.
- 12 Noon - Morning projects conclude.
- 12 - 1 PM - Free lunch at Cedar Hills Baptist for both morning and afternoon volunteers.
- 1 - 4 PM - Afternoon projects at various locations.
On Sunday April 22, a Day of Action celebration service will be held at Westside United Methodist Church; a great time to celebrate shared accomplishments, tell stories and show pictures and video of the first Cedar Hills Day of Action.
